Singularity Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy for Singularity

Last updated: August 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Singularity ("Singularity", "the Bot", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when users interact with the Bot on Discord.

By using Singularity, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Process

Singularity may process information provided through Discord when necessary to provide its features.

Depending on the features enabled in a Discord server, this may include:

  • Discord user IDs, server IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, and message IDs.

  • Basic Discord account information made available to the Bot, such as usernames, display names, and avatars.

  • Server configuration information required to operate features such as moderation, welcome messages, roles, suggestions, levels, and support tickets.

  • Message content when required for specific Bot functionality.

  • Messages and related information contained within support ticket channels.

  • Activity information required for features such as experience or leveling systems.

Singularity does not collect information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or the sale of personal data.

2. Message Content

Singularity may access message content when required to provide specific features, including:

  • Support ticket functionality.

  • Ticket transcripts.

  • Suggestion systems.

  • Activity and leveling systems.

  • Moderation and logging features, including deleted or edited message logs where configured by server administrators.

Message content is only processed where necessary for the functionality configured by the relevant Discord server.

3. Support Ticket Transcripts

When a support ticket is closed, Singularity may generate and store a transcript containing messages and information from the corresponding ticket channel.

Ticket transcripts may include:

  • Messages sent within the ticket.

  • Usernames and Discord user identifiers.

  • Message timestamps.

  • Attachments or references to attachments, where applicable.

  • Other information necessary to preserve the context of the support conversation.

Ticket transcripts are stored for administrative, support, moderation, dispute-resolution, and security purposes.

4. How We Use Information

Information processed by Singularity is used only to operate and maintain the Bot and its configured features.

This may include:

  • Providing support ticket systems.

  • Generating ticket transcripts.

  • Assigning configured roles.

  • Sending welcome or departure messages.

  • Operating moderation and logging systems.

  • Processing suggestions.

  • Providing experience, activity, or leveling features.

  • Maintaining server-specific Bot configuration.

  • Detecting abuse, preventing misuse, and maintaining the security and reliability of the service.

We do not use Discord message content or other user data to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Singularity operates within Discord servers at the request of server owners or administrators.

Server administrators are responsible for configuring the Bot appropriately and informing their community about server-specific moderation, logging, ticketing, or data-processing practices where required.

Where applicable, information is processed because it is necessary to provide the services requested by the user or server administrator, to maintain the legitimate operation and security of the Bot, or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

Information processed by Singularity is not shared with third parties except where necessary to:

  • Operate the infrastructure required to provide the Bot.

  • Comply with legal obligations.

  • Respond to valid legal requests.

  • Protect the security, rights, or integrity of Singularity, its operators, or its users.

  • Investigate abuse or violations of applicable rules.

Discord itself processes information according to Discord's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by Singularity against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.

However, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Access to stored information (e.g. ticket transcripts) is strictly limited to authorized staff members and systems with a legitimate operational need. Regular server members do not have access to stored transcripts. Access permissions are restricted to trusted personnel with elevated administrative or moderation privileges.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant functionality or satisfy legitimate operational, security, or legal requirements.

In particular:

  • Ticket transcripts are retained for a maximum of one (1) year from their creation date and are then deleted.

  • Temporary information used only to process Discord events may not be stored persistently.

  • Server configuration data may be retained while Singularity remains configured for that server or until it is no longer required.

During this period, access is restricted to authorized staff members with elevated permissions and is only permitted for legitimate support, moderation, administrative, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

9. User Rights and Data Deletion Requests

Users may contact us to request information about personal data associated with them that is stored by Singularity, or to request its deletion where applicable.

Because some information is associated with Discord servers rather than directly with an individual user, certain requests may require verification or coordination with the relevant server administrator.

To submit a privacy or deletion request, contact:

Email: [support@obsilion.es]

Please include your Discord User ID and sufficient information for us to identify the relevant data.

We may request additional information where necessary to verify the request.

10. Children

Singularity is intended for use in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service and minimum-age requirements.

We do not knowingly use the Bot to collect personal information from users who are not permitted to use Discord under Discord's applicable age requirements.

11. Third-Party Services

Singularity operates through Discord and may rely on infrastructure or hosting providers necessary for operating the Bot and storing permitted data.

The use of Discord is also governed by Discord's own terms, policies, and privacy practices.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Singularity, legal requirements, or our data-processing practices.

When material changes are made, the updated version will be published at the same public location and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
